Ever wished that you could have the ability to edit Skype messages after you had sent them? Rejoice as Skype has finally heard you. Today it released an update of Skype for modern Windows which brings the ability to edit messages after they have been sent. After from this headliner the update also brings a few more improvements for the software on Windows.
To edit a message after it has been sent on the updated Skype simply select the message you wish to edit by tapping or right clicking on it with the mouse then highlight the test that is to be removed.
Once that’s done select “edit message” to change it or “remove message” to delete all of it. You will have the ability to delete multiple lines in sequence.
Apart from bringing stability improvements and fixes this Skype update also includes improvements which make the video message notifications more reliable, thus making video messages more accessible for users.
Some will say that Skype took its sweet time in bringing over the edit feature to the app for modern Windows but hopefully they can look past that now and make use of this feature when need be. Skype version 3.1 is now available for download absolutely free from the Windows Store.
