Scenes Of The Samsung NX Rover

Most of the time, whenever we hear of the word “rover”, we would more or less think of it as a dog’s name, or being a robot that goes about on Mars to discover more about the Red Planet, beaming back crucial and important information to us here on the earth. The Samsung NX Rover, however, is an exploration rover that will make use of the Samsung Galaxy NX camera. That particular camera is one of the first 3G/4G LTE Connected Compact System Cameras from Samsung.

The Galaxy NX camera comes with a 20.3MP APS-C Sensor, 1/6000 sec shutter speed and 8.6fps shooting capability, not to mention boasting of connectivity capabilities which run based on the Android platform. Samsung then came up with a travelling robot, calling it the Samsung NX Rover, gaining inspiration from NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover, of course.

This allows the Samsung NX Rover to go where normal humans are unable, that is, cramped spaces and shooting images from just about anywhere – while sharing those images with the masses. Of course, one will have to be extra careful with this if you’re wearing something that is rather windy down there, just in case.
