The South Korean conglomerate Samsung is certainly pretty busy these days, considering the number of smartphones and devices that they seem to have in the pipeline these days. In fact, being a company that caters for a wide range of devices across the entire market, it would mean that they are busier than usual. While the world awaits with bated breath for the imminent release of the Galaxy Alpha as well as more word on the Galaxy Note 4, it looks as though there might be yet another device in the works, considering how one of their more recent trademark applications point to a patent for the “Galaxy Note Edge” name.
Of course, reality points to the possibility that Samsung might not even release a device with such a name in the first place, although one cannot but help to think that the Galaxy Note Edge might be just another moniker for the Galaxy Note 4 – when it rolls out as a different version perhaps in another market.
What do you think of the name Galaxy Note Edge? Does it have a rather dangerous and exciting ring to it? After all, to see a different Galaxy Note device branch out certainly adds a dash of anticipation.
