It goes without saying that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is ready and waiting to be launched by Samsung, considering the vast number of rumors and leaks of the handset that we have come across in the past week alone. Having said that, the rumor mill does not look as though it is going to be shut down anytime soon concerning this smartphone, where a South Korean report points to the Galaxy Alpha being announced this 13th of August, which would be a Wednesday.
Apart from that, while we have seen its chassis from the outside that will notably underline a metal-clad body, what most folks would be more interested in would be the innards, and even then the de facto rumors point to the likes of a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 4.7” Super AMOLED display at 720p resolution, and a 1,850mAh battery.
It seems that other rumors are being circulated around that the Galaxy Alpha too, will not be satisfied with just 32GB of internal memory crammed right inside, as there might be a 64GB version in the pipeline as well, which will obviously go up against the iPhone 6 when the latter is revealed officially. If that is the case, then do not expect the purported 64GB model to arrive with a microSD memory card slot.
