When it comes to Windows Phone devices, most of the time, we would think of what Nokia offers, as they happen to be one of the major hardware manufacturers of smartphones that run on the Windows Phone operating system. Earlier this June at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan, there was the Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 DUO which was announced, but at least it is now available for purchase.
Do expect the Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 DUO to feature a 5” IPS LCD display at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution that is further protected by Gorilla Glass, running on a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor as well as accompanied by an Adreno 302 GPU. In addition, there will also be 1GB RAM, a 2,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity thrown into the mix, apart from an 8MP camera at the back alongside a 2MP camera in front for those selfie snapping moments.
It ain’t too large to carry around either, measuring 8.5mm in terms of thickness, while offering dual SIM support to boot. Forget about 4G LTE connectivity though, as this one maxes out at 3G. The MultiPhone 8500 DUO is available for €128 a pop if you are interested, which translates to roughly $170, unlocked, and can be shipped worldwide.
