Just yesterday we reported that Oppo had started teasing the N1 mini smartphone again even though the device had been formally confirmed not so long ago. However when Oppo did announce the N1 mini it didn’t reveal all of the specifications so we were essentially left in the dark. Now though the company has finally released the full Oppo N1 mini specifications. It doesn’t boast any high-end hardware but would be able to hold its own in the mid-range segment of the market.
The Oppo N1 mini has a 5-inch Hd display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.6GHz Cortex-A7 processor under the hood coupled with an Adreno 305 graphics processor. There’s 2GB RAM onboard alongside 16GB of internal memory.
One of the biggest selling points of this device is its swiveling camera. This is perhaps also its biggest similarity with its high-end sibling, the Oppo N1. This 13 megapixel shooter is capable of taking pictures in 24 megapixel “ultra HD” mode, a feature that first debuted on the Oppo Find 7.
Weighing nearly 150 grams and coming it at 148.4 x 72.2 x 9.2mm, the Oppo N1 mini is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Color OS optimization slapped on top. Powering the device is a 2,140mAh battery. The Oppo N1 mini is already on sale in Malaysia for less than $450, it is expected to be released in other markets around the globe in the near future.
