It was not too long ago that the Nexus 6, also known as the Motorola Shamu, was spotted online, but back then, there were no real concrete details on the hardware specifications of this upcoming device. Good thing then, that someone else has stumbled upon the mention of the Motorola Shamu aka Nexus 6 on the GFXBench site.
Having been listed to carry a resolution count of 2,392 x 1,440 pixels for its display, chances are it will end up with the equivalent of the LG G3’s QHD display after one does away with the soft keys strip space. As for its graphical performance, it remains somewhere in the realm of smartphones that carry Full HD displays. Do bear in mind that whatever has been revealed happen to be preliminary test results, as the final deal has not been revealed officially, so there is still some tweaking left to be done on Motorola’s side before rolling the Shamu out to the masses.
Other specifications point to a quad-core 2.6GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, a 5.2″ display, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 12MP shooter at the back that can handle 4K UHD video recording without missing a beat, a 2MP selfie camera in front, and Android L as the mobile operating system of choice.
