That being said, the i3 variant is pretty affordable, at least more so than the i5 version. It will pack 64GB of onboard storage and will be priced at $799, not too bad, right? For those who are looking at either the i5 or i7 versions, they will be priced starting at $999. However 64GB isn’t a lot of storage so if you were hoping to store movies and music and photos, you’ll probably be running out of space really quick.
As it stands it is still unclear as to how successful the Surface Pro 3 really is. Many have applauded Microsoft’s efforts and the folks at DisplayMate have even called the display on the Surface Pro 3 one of the more accurate displays available at the moment. While Microsoft has yet to release official sales figures, they claim that the Surface Pro 3 has managed to outpace the sales of previous models.
Then again the original Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 weren’t exactly selling like hotcakes either. In any case hopefully we’ll hear some figures from Microsoft soon, but in the meantime if you wanted to get your hands on a Surface Pro 3, hit up your local Microsoft retail store for the details.
