If you grew up playing Mortal Kombat in the era where Street Fighter II ruled the roost, then I am quite sure you would be pretty well acquainted with the likes of Kano, who happens to be the leader of the The Black Dragon. Needless to say, he did not get to where he is in Black Dragon by being a very nice guy, and this time around, he has a slew of cybernetic enhancements that are all the more powerful, as you can see in the trailer above as Kano lays the smack down on bug lady D’Vorah in the 2015 slated title known as Mortal Kombat X.
Kano in Mortal Kombat X will be more aged, but he is more than a match for the rest of the crowd thanks to his array of cybernetic implants. You can choose from three variations – Cutthroat, Cybernetic and Commando, which certainly adds an element of strategy to the entire game.
Cutthroat would see Kano feature his enhanced knife-fighting abilities that does have a fair number of great looking combos, while in Cybernetic mode, he will make more use of his eye laser and grenades, being deadly against aerial attacks as well as in close quarter combat. Last but not least, there is also the Commando option that won’t see him fight without underwear, but rather, being a grappling maestro that is sure to frustrate opponents who like close range combat.
