HTC Zoe Arriving On Non-HTC Smartphones
Earlier this year when HTC rolled out their stunning flagship that is known as the HTC One (M8), the company did also mention that they intend to deliver their BlinkFeed and Zoe apps to other Android-powered devices which does not bear the HTC brand name, without putting a date to that claim, of course. Word on the street has it that such will be a reality some time later this week where Zoe is concerned, as it makes its way over on Google Play. In other words, if you have a cracking Android-powered smartphone from the likes of Samsung and LG, you too, will be able to enjoy the wonders of Zoe soon.
The Zoe app will be made available by HTC Creative Labs, which so happens to be a different business unit from HTC that was set up quite recently. Drew Bamford would helm the HTC Creative Labs that has 260 heads in employment, and is based in Seattle, San Francisco, and Taipei. This so happens to be HTC’s software arm which could very well help the Taiwanese company go toe to toe against the likes of Apple and Samsung in the long run.
What does HTC Zoe do? It will help you churn out short clips of your own, based on the photos and videos that are stored on your handset, all the while having the option of adding a soundtrack to your newly created clip, too.
