There has been some developments (read: rumors and leaks) concerning the upcoming Nexus X, but it has been insufficient to whip up frenzy surrounding the upcoming HTC-manufactured Nexus device. While we do know that it is in the pipeline and will eventually roll out one of these days, rumors point to it arriving with an 8.9” display alongside 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution, not to mention sporting a 64-bit Tegra K1 processor.
In one of the more recent CPU-Z reports that was leaked out, it pointed to such a processor that will make its way in the next generation HTC Nexus tablet. CPU-Z reports are virtually impossible to fake, and TKTech, the party behind this leak, has had a pretty accurate track record to date. The Tegra K1 processor was clocked at 2.5GHz, and this heavy hitting SoC would definitely be an ideal match to go alongside the Tegra chip.
Well, we will just have to wait for the official tablet to roll out before having a better idea on what the HTC Nexus tablet is all about, hence playing the patience card is a good idea.
