Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC looks all set to make an announcement over at IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany, for their upcoming 64-bit-capable smartphone, which has been given the nickname Desire 820 by many quarters. Of course, with an impending announcement next week, it goes without saying that there will be plenty of rumors and speculation going about concerning the device, and the latest one would hail from@upleaks that touted how the HTC Desire 820 will arrive with an MSM-8916 chipset, which is actually the quad-core Snapdragon 410, being a 64-bit processor.
Apart from that, it was also revealed by @upleaks that the HTC Desire 820 will also arrive with a 5.5” display at 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, an 8MP front-facing camera that ought to shoot razor sharp selfies, a 13MP camera at the back, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a 2,600 mAh battery to keep it running the entire day. Taken with a pinch of salt, the final hardware specifications might still differ, but assuming all of the mentioned turns out to be true, then the HTC Desire 820 is certainly not too far ahead of the HTC Desire 816. If my memory serves me right, the HTC Desire 816 managed to pick up a fair number of positive vibes from users, and hopefully the HTC Desire 820 will be able to follow suit.
