The HTC Desire range is not exactly top on the wish list for many people, but this does not mean that it is not a smartphone that is unable to deliver for a device of its class. Having said that, we have word that the next Desire device might actually be equipped with a brand new octa-core 64-bit processor, now how about that?
Apparently, this particular device looks set to be revealed over at this year’s IFA 2014 event that will be held at Berlin, Germany. Apart from that, the invitation from HTC as you can see above has fueled additional rumors with the cryptic line “See what’s next for smartphones at HTC’s IFA breakfast”.
In fact, there were also other rumors that saw alleged hardware specifications of a 64-bit capable HTC Desire handset. Well, what do you think HTC has up their sleeves next? Only time will be able to tell, but since IFA 2014 is slightly more than a couple of weeks away, it pays to play the patience card. Still, would an octa-core 64-bit processor on a Desire-branded device from HTC be able to bring it up a notch in terms of desirability? One can only keep their fingers crossed, but it sure as heck is going to pack a whole lot more punch for sure.
