The HTC Butterfly 2 will carry some similar hardware specifications as that of its current flagship, the HTC One (M8), although it will not sport a similar unibody aluminum chassis but rather rely on plastic to get the job done, just like the HTC One E8.
Is there a reason for making it look one class lower than the existing flagship device? Perhaps, since the HTC Butterfly 2 has been whispered to be waterproof in order to keep up with the times, and having a plastic body does make plenty of sense in the long run. Oh yeah, other hardware specifications that are said to keep the HTC Butterfly 2 company would be a 13MP shooter at the back which sports a Sony sensor.
