Samsung has all but confirmed that it is going to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3rd. Invites for the event have already been sent out so its only a matter of time before we get to know what the company has in store for us. That doesn’t mean the steady stream of rumors and leaks about this device would stop flowing. The latest comes from an Indonesian retailer who put up a product page for this device, revealing what many believe to be the Galaxy Note 4’s specifications.
As per Erafone’s product page the Galaxy Note 4 will either have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or Samsung’s own Exynos 5433 chip, this would depend upon the variant. In some markets Samsung ships the Qualcomm chip and in others its own. The processor will be accompanied by a whopping 4GB of RAM.
Even though the Note 4’s display isn’t expected to increase in size its resolution may be bumped up to 2,560×1,440 if these specifications are correct. It appears that the camera would not move beyond 16 megapixel, aided by autofocus and dual-LED flash.
16/32/64GB models are expected with support for external expansion through microSD cards. The product page doesn’t say if it has a fingerprint sensor or not though rumors will have us believe that the Galaxy Note 4 will indeed have a fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Samsung hasn’t confirmed any rumored Galaxy Note 4 specifications and it really has no cause to do so since the official event is less than a month away. Fingers crossed till then.
