I am quite sure that in the past one week or so, Windows Phone users have been having a field time using the app, so it is nice to see that an update for BBM for Windows Phone has already rolled out, seeing the version getting an upgrade to 1.0.0.16. In version 1.0.0.16, one will be able to experience the likes of bug fixes as well as performance improvements.
In the app description, it claims that the latest BBM for Windows Phone 1.0.0.16 update will be able to bring “you together in the moment with friends and family through instant chats, picture sharing, voice notes and more. Download the official version of BBM now to start chatting with other BBM users on Windows Phone, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry.”
It seems that BBM is clearly placing their emphasis on delivering speed, privacy, and security of BBM to Windows Phone, before they work on other features. There is also word that a second version of the app is already in the pipeline, and needless to say, this upcoming version will also be packed with its fair share of features that will make BBM for Windows Phone all the more indispensable on your smartphone.
