IFA 2014 is around the corner and it seems that we can look forward to many new products being announced, with one of them being the ASUS smartwatch. About a week ago, ASUS teased a photo of their smartwatch which seemed to show off a square-ish face. In the latest teaser image by ASUS, that shape has been confirmed once again as you can see in the image above.
ASUS has also attached a messaged to the image which reads, “Time has been transformed and we have changed.” Unfortunately apart from the teaser image and message, that’s pretty much all we know about the ASUS smartwatch at the moment. Now this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about ASUS’ plans for a smartwatch.
Earlier this year there were several reports about ASUS’ upcoming smartwatch. One of the reports claimed that ASUS plans on making their device competitive in terms of pricing in order to undercut the likes of Samsung who has several different smartwatches available in the market at the moment.
It is unclear if ASUS will be using the Android Wear platform for their smartwatch or if they are planning something different of their own, but either way if you can’t wait to see what ASUS has up their sleeves, check back with us on the 3rd of September for the details.
