Assembled Front And Rear iPhone 6 Chassis Caught On Camera
By now we’re sure most of you guys are acquainted with how the iPhone 6 looks like. After all the leaks have left very little to the imagination and assuming that they are the real deal, we guess the surprise has all but been ruined for Apple’s rumored September launch. That being said, additional photos have surfaced courtesy of the folks at Feld & Volk.
The new photos published by the company offer photos of what is supposed to be the assembled iPhone 6’s front and rear chassis, thus giving us a glimpse at how the final design of the iPhone 6 might look like. Upon first glance it looks like the iPhone 6 has drawn design inspiration from the iPad mini or the iPad Air with its curved edges and pill-shaped volume buttons.
Interestingly enough it shows the bottom of the chassis where instead of two sets of grills (one for the microphone the other for the speaker), Apple has decided to go for a single hole for the microphone, and a row of enlarged grills for the speaker. It’s not very symmetrical but perhaps Apple’s design team decided to go with something different.
The design also reminds us of the original iPhone where it featured more curved edges rather than straight ones found on the iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5/5s. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but assuming Apple does announce the iPhone 6 in September, we won’t have to wait much longer for the details.
