The alleged receipt showed that Catanzarite dropped by the Apple Store on the 8th of July to pick up a set of earpods that set him back by $29. Catanzarite shared over Facebook, “Being queer and having worked with queer youth, I know first-hand that this is an example of the type of #homophobic beliefs and actions that lead young people to harm themselves. This type of action is NOT OKAY, especially from a company that prides itself on being LGBTQ inclusive and welcoming.”
Needless to say, the alleged receipt had already picked up plenty of steam on the Internet since it went up, and while Apple is aware of the incident, the Cupertino company decided to remain mum on the situation – at least for now. What do you think should be done in a situation like this?
