Another Leak Of Huawei Ascend P7 Points To Sapphire Display

It looks like the next buzzword which involves smartphones or mobile devices would be sapphire glass, or a sapphire display. The rumored and long anticipated iPhone 6 is said to arrive with that, and you can be sure that other smartphone manufacturers would not want to lose out on this particular trend. In fact, another image has leaked out that points to the upcoming Huawei Ascend P7 that will most probably be revealed at IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany, early next month, that depicts a very distinct possibility of seeing a sapphire display on this bad boy.

Perhaps waterproof and dustproof features might not be what next generation flagship devices will offer, but rather, sapphire glass could very well be the defining factor that makes one person choose a particular smartphone over the other.

Just a little recap – the Huawei Ascend P7 is said to come with a quad-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A9 processor that runs on Huawei’s very own HiSilicon Kirin chipset. Apart from that, it will be accompanied by 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 13MP/8MP camera combination that will be able to deliver great looking selfies and fantastic shots. All in all, we will just have to sit tight and wait for an official announcement to know for sure, and put all of those rumors to bed once and for all.
