Alleged iPhone 6 Photos Shows Off Volume Buttons, Apple Logo, Protruding Camera
By now we’re sure everyone, or at least most of you guys, have seen the iPhone 6’s design. Of course all of this is assuming that the leaked images are the real deal. That being said, last month Feld & Volk released photos of what they claimed to be photos of the iPhone 6, but apparently the device pictured was said to be in an intermediate stage of production.
However recently the folks at Feld & Volk have released a handful of new photos which they believe to be the completed version of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6. The photos shows off several parts of the handset, such as it mute switch and volume buttons. According to the photos, the volume buttons look a bit recessed, suggesting a lower profile to prevent accidental volume changes.
They also showed off the embedded Apple logo that would be featured on the back of the iPhone. Previous photos showed a cutout area where the Apple logo should be and has led to speculation that we could expect a glowing logo like on the MacBook laptops. However Feld & Volk believe that the logo will be made from a Liquidmetal alloy and be very scratch resistant, more so than before.
Another photo shows off the camera of the iPhone 6 which appears to be protruding. We have to admit we’re a bit skeptical about this since it does seem to go against Apple’s design philosophy, but leaked schematics have suggested that this is a possibility and the photo seems to “confirm” that. We guess we’ll just have to wait on Apple to clarify this one for us. Do take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the rumors are to be believed, Apple will announce the iPhone 6 on the 9th of September, so check back with us then for the details.
