That being said, the LG Gx2 does not appear to be a high-end smartphone, although it does seem to have borrowed certain features from the LG G3. For starters, the phone will sport a whopping 5.7-inch 720 HD display. It will be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and will be accompanied by 1.5GB of RAM.
The handset will also come with 8GB of onboard storage, a 3,200mAh battery, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear-facing camera that will borrow the LG G3’s laser autofocus system. Unfortunately LG did not mention when the handset will launch or how much it will cost when it is launched.
However given that the press release was made on LG’s Korean website, there is a good chance that the LG Gx2 could be limited to the Korean market, but either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for a possible release stateside or in international markets.
