Now the good news is that if you’re a subscriber to Amazon Instant video, you might be pleased to learn that Amazon will begin streaming 4K video content starting from this October. This was a feature that had been announced earlier this year and we guess we now have a date to look forward to.
Samsung will also be the first hardware partner of Amazon where they will be including Amazon’s 4K service on their UHD television sets worldwide. Along with support for 4K Amazon Instant Video, Samsung is expected to expand the availability of Netflix’s 4K content across Europe.
We’re not sure if this will help the adoption of 4K TV sets, but in case you were one of those who was holding back due to the lack of content, hopefully the rollout of 4K Amazon Instant Video will change your mind. In the meantime who else is looking forward to streaming 4K content from Amazon this October?
