The Xbox One will go on sale from September onward thanks to a partnership with China Telecom. Reuters did mention, however, that a major online retailer known as JD.com will be receiving pre-orders from today onward, and this pre-order will cease in a couple of days. In fact, the Xbox One holds the distinction of being the very first console to roll out in China ever since the country banned gaming consoles and other similar devices all the way back in 2000.
It is said that the Xbox One that will hit the China market will include software tweaks alongside relevant changes made within to help it remain in line with various Chinese laws and expectations. This seems as though selected games will be restricted depending on the level of violence and other inappropriate content within.
