The Nokia Lumia 635 which was launched in April earlier this year saw pre-orders for the smartphone kick off in the final week of June, and here we are with T-Mobile announcing the price of the Nokia Lumia 635, where it will be made available to the masses from July 5th onward. The Nokia Lumia 635 holds special significance because it is the first Lumia device Stateside that is put on offer while being powered by Windows Phone 8.1 as the mobile operating system of choice.
T-Mobile will not be the only company offering the Nokia Lumia 635, as MetroPCS too, will do so at the beginning of this month. T-Mobile will place the smartphone on sale on the Home Shopping Network all the way to Simple Choice prepaid customers, while those who prefer to do their shopping online can do so beginning July 9th. As for MetroPCS customers, you can opt to pick one up from July 18th at a promotional price of $99.
I guess many people would be interested to see how Microsoft’s personal digital assistant, Cortana, would function on board the Lumia 635. Well, if you currently have the intention to test out a Windows Phone handset after dancing with Android and/or iOS, perhaps now would be a good time (and place) to begin. [Press Release]
