Earlier this year at CES, ZTE unveiled what they are calling “the first smart projector”, which is odd since we’ve seen many other Android projectors. The good news for those who are looking or could be interested in such a product is that ZTE has announced the availability of the device where it will be available via Sprint where it will also be known as the Sprint LivePro.
For those who might have missed the ZTE smart projector’s announcement at CES and are wondering what makes it “smart”, well for starters the fact that it is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean probably tells you a lot about it. It will also sport a 4-inch touchscreen display and will also come with a hotspot and a power bank, meaning that you’re getting more than just a projector.
Through the touchscreen display, users will be able to cycle through videos and images that they wish to project. It will feature WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI connectivity, so there are many ways one can connect their devices and transfer their presentations over onto it. The projector will be capable of projecting anywhere between 10-120-inches and will also come with built-in speakers in the event that you need sound as well.
At the same time with its hotspot functionality, it will lets as many as 8 devices connect to it, and with the built-in power bank, it will charge them at the same time. Sprint will be charging $0 down for the LivePro with 24 monthly payments of $18.75. Data plans will start at $34.99 per month for 3GB of 3G/4G data; $49.99 for 6GB of 3G/4G data; or $79.99 for 12GB of 3G/4G data. If you’d like to get your hands on it, head on over to Sprint’s website for the details.
