Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A In Europe To Carry Full HD Display
Don’t you just hate it when a smartphone company rolls out the different versions of the same handset in various regions, where certain models would arrive with better hardware specifications than those elsewhere? Take the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A for instance – it was originally meant to be in the South Korea market only, but that seems to have changed, with an European variant with the model number SM-G901 headed across the pond. The thing is, the South Korea version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A will feature a QHD display, while the SM-G901 is said to come with a Full HD display instead.
This is definitely a drop in the total resolution count, but it ought not be too much of an issue actually if you are not too particular. Graphical purists would definitely complain, however, even more so when they find out that the SM-G901 allegedly comes with a display that measures 5.2”, which would make it larger compared to the 5.1” display that currently sees action on the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A as well as the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S5.
Quad HD or not, will you still be picking up the Galaxy S5 LTE-A version when it finally arrives in Europe?
