galaxy-note-4-exynos

Samsung’s flagships models often come in two variants, one with a Qualcomm processor and the other with the company’s homegrown Exynos processor. These variants are shipped to different markets as per their requirements. Earlier today Samsung teased what appears to be an announcement for the Galaxy Note 4’s Exynos processor. The company teased through Twitter that it has something new and exciting to show to the world and it concerns the Exynos processors.

The next homegrown chip from Samsung should have the Exynos 5433 moniker and it would certainly make its way to the Galaxy Note 4. Don’t be surprised to see the chip being unveiled a few months before the device, Samsung did this with the Exynos 5410 as well, which was unveiled first and then made its debut in the Galaxy S4 a few months later.

For now major details about the next Exynos processor are not available. Some rumors claim that it will feature Intel XMM7260 Cat. 6 LTE modem which will bring ultra-fast data speeds to the device it powers, thus allowing the company to launch its flagship phablet in more countries than before.

An updated GPU or graphics processing unit will most likely accompany the Exynos 5433 though no details about its power and capability are available as yet. One can expect it to pack a mean punch as Galaxy Note 4 appears to be one of the few devices that would be compatible with Samsung’s rumored Gear VR headset.
