=”https://www.ubergizmo.com/2014/05/ps-vita-slim-review/”>PS Vita from Sony happens to have such a high level of demand that Sony has issues keeping up with their production facilities in order to ensure adequate stock levels on this continent.
In fact, it is said that the PS Vita (the new Slim model, and not the original that rolled out a few years back) happens to be noticeably absent from many store shelves – virtual or otherwise, in North America, with the Borderlands 2 bundle being one of the more obvious “candidates”, so to speak, despite being released only in May. Could the new slim form factor have actually played a role in the increased demand for this handheld console?
According to a Sony spokesperson, the issue at hand here happens to be increased demand and cannot be attributed to a diminished supply. The representative shared, “We’re seeing healthy consumer demand for PS Vita globally, particularly in markets like Japan. The U.S. launch of the slimmer and lighter PS Vita has generated strong interest among gamers, and we’re working to replenish supply here to ensure continued momentum leading into the holidays.”
