It does seem as though the Pokémon franchise can be pretty difficult to milk dry, as there does not look to be a shortage of ideas anytime soon. In fact, the Pokémon Company recently made an announcement concerning the Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions concert series, which happens to be a slew of orchestral performances that would hark back to the days of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses tour.
The Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions concerts have been scheduled to debut this coming August 15, 2014, where it will first see action at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. So far, there has been no revealed set list to date, although it is more or less given that music from all of the main series titles will be given a once over to the imagination of the musicians, where the end result ought to be more than pleasing.
To make sure that this particular event would also double up as a movie in addition to being a concert, the Pokémon Company decided to employ the talents of creative producers from Symphony of the Goddesses. Expect the orchestra to play different pieces from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow through Pokémon X and Y, all the while showing off visuals from the games themselves, depicting drawings as well as videos.
