What are the qualities that you would look for most in a smartphone before making that all important purchase decision whenever your contract comes to an end? Would it be the camera quality, or would the kind of processor prove to be more important to you? Some other folks might place design above all else, never mind about functionality, while others are the exact polar opposite. Well, for those who love svelte and slim smartphones, you probably won’t go wrong with the Philips I908, which is touted to be one of the slimmest handsets you will ever be able to wrap your hands around – at least at this point in time.
The Philips I908 will boast of an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor, where it will be accompanied by a 5” 1080p display, 2GB RAM, and a 13-megapixel camera at the back. The folks over at Philips have not managed to divulge the exact dimensions of this bad boy, although from the promotional image that you can see above, it does seem as though it is so thin, it might just break when you apply a wee bit much pressure in the middle. Hopefully something official will be released soon, otherwise the Gionee Elife S5.5 will still remain the thinnest smartphone in the world at a mere 5.5mm.
