It seems that the OneNote app for Android from Microsoft recently picked up an update that sports a unified user interface, although the beta version did roll out not too long ago. In fact, here is an update to the beta version of this particular app, where it will be accompanied by a slew of features that are sure to be handy – including the support for handwritten notes.
With the OneNote app for Android beta, you will be able to input text using your fingertips, but just in case you were picking your nose right before that, there is always the option of using a compatible stylus. Should you be running this particular app on a tablet, then there will be new additions thrown into the mix that lets you format and customize the notes that you would like to take down in a variety of ways.
For instance, you will be able to choose the font type to suit your liking, in addition to playing with said font chosen, ranging from its size and formatting, among others. Not only that, you can also change the alignment of the text when you write, with the ability to edit the tags of the notes. Microsoft’s OneNote beta also lets you move between different notebooks, text sections, and pages, with but a swipe using your fingers.
