Good things come to those who wait, and patience is definitely a virtue if you have been waiting for what seems to be the longest time for the Oculus Rift DK2. Actually, it has just been four months as well as a self-imposed delay, but the first wave of Oculus Rift DK2 pre-order owners will be pleased as punch to hear that they have started to receive emails from Oculus that cite shipping is imminent.
Apparently, the email reads as follows:
You’re receiving this email because your Oculus Pre-order is about to ship, and we’ve charged the remaining balance to the credit card on file.
You can view your current order status and download an invoice for this charge using the Oculus Order Manager. Please note that you’re unable to make any further modifications to your order.
Thanks again for your support!
Sincerely,The Oculus Team www.oculusvr.com
Oculus does look as though they are going to process the shipping in batches, and the email that you see in the image above applies only to folks who paid using their credit cards. Those who decided to settle accounts would have have paid in full already. Are you stoked yet, and cannot wait to wrap your hands around the Oculus Rift DK2?
