That being said we have yet to hear an announcement from Microsoft regarding the handset’s launch or availability, or pricing for that matter, but according to a recent listing on a Vietnamese retailer’s website (via GSM Arena), perhaps its image and its specs could have been revealed a little ahead of time.
Unsurprisingly the specs of the Lumia 530 aren’t exactly the most high-end or the most powerful. According to the specs, assuming they’re accurate, the Lumia 530 will sport a 4-inch display with a marginally higher resolution than its predecessor at 480×854, but it will also pack Nokia’s ClearBlack display technology.
The phone will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of 720p HD video recording, dual SIM capabilities, and a 1,430mAh battery. It is possible that these specs and the image are simply placeholders, so take it with a grain of salt for now, but in the meantime what do you guys think?
