We’re not sure what the goal is here other than to consolidate branding, and for those who are a little skeptical, we guess we can’t blame you. However according to a recent post by TK Tech News, they have heard from their sources that Stephen Elop, the former CEO of Nokia who now heads Microsoft’s Devices and Studios division, has been sighted several times with a strange looking device.
Apparently this device will be part of the Lumia Android series and has been given the codename “Project Green”. In fact they go on to claim that several people have actually heard Elop mention the project more than a few times in public with other Microsoft employees. Of course this is simply hearsay at this point in time, so do take it with a grain of salt for now.
However Nokia’s Android efforts have been subpar at best, and they have usually resulted in low-end devices that probably won’t appeal to those seeking high-end powerful Android handsets, like the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the LG G3, but what do you think? Could the Lumia Android phone be something completely different, if it even exists at all?
