Microsoft Xbox One Controller & Headset Gets A Camo Makeover
The Xbox One is currently available in a black finish. It’s very sleek looking and it tends to go well with living room electronic equipment, such as TVs, DVD/Blu-ray players, amplifiers, and so on. However if you wanted to jazz up your console a bit, Microsoft has officially revealed Special Edition Armed Forces wireless controllers and stereo headsets that you can use with your console.
Essentially what these Special Edition Armed Forces controllers and headsets look like is that they have been given a new coat of paint, as you can see in the image above. According to Microsoft, “These new editions sport a modern camouflage pattern and military look, while retaining the same functionality of existing models.”
Now apart from the new coat of paint, the Xbox One wireless controller will also feature a metallic chrome d-pad in addition to the new camo design, but apart from that both accessories will retain the same functionality as their more somber looking black counterparts.
The Xbox One controller will retail at $64.99 and the stereo headset will be priced at $89.99. Both peripherals are expected to ship later this year in October and can be pre-ordered by heading on over to Microsoft’s website. Unfortunately it does not seem that Microsoft has decided to give the Xbox One a camo makeover to keep it in line with the theme. So, any takers?
