Apart from that, it is said that production for the components of the Microsoft Surface 3 is set to kick off some time next month, with volume production happening in September. When one takes into consideration that the Microsoft Surface 2 was launched in October of 2013, it is more or less safe to make the assumption that the upcoming device will be the Microsoft Surface 2. The executives over at Microsoft do expect the Surface 3 to be a better seller compared to the Surface 2, and no doubt part they would have been galvanized by the sales figures of the Surface Pro 3 to date.
