Microsoft Rolling Out 1TB Of OneDrive Storage To Office 365 Subscribers

If you’re a subscriber to Microsoft’s Office 365, you might be pleased to learn that as promised, Microsoft has flipped the switch and has given their customers 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage. Previously this free 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage was limited to their enterprise customers, but recently Microsoft had promised they would be offering it to both consumer and college students who have Office 365 plans.

So if you’re subscribing to either Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal, or Office 365 University,  you should be on the receiving end of the free storage. According to reports, the rollout of the free storage has already begun, as confirmed by Computerworld, so if you’re the sort that stores a lot of their documents in the cloud for backup, then this should come as good news to you.

For those who are considering subscribing, Microsoft is currently charging users $99.99 and $79.99 annually for the Home and Personal Office 365 subscriptions respectively, while university students can subscribe to the Office 365 University where it is priced at $79.99, but the subscription would be good for the next four years.

The subscription to Office 365 will also give users access to Office for iPad which requires users to have an active subscription, so if you have a tablet, then your subscription will cover your tablet’s Office apps as well.
