According to LG, the company claims that they have managed to sell a whopping 14.5 million smartphones, a third of which are LTE-enabled handsets. This is also an increase of 20% compared to the same period from last year, and a 17% increase from Q1 2014, which is apparently a record-breaking result for LG.
While they definitely do deserved to be congratulated, it seems that LG has also revealed that they have more LG G3 variants in the works. According to the company’s press release, it reads, “LG plans to continue its global rollout of the G3 and introduce more mass tier products in the second half, including variations of the LG G3, such as the recently announced G3 Beat, and additional L Series models.”
So far we’ve seen handsets like the LG G3, the LG G3 Beat, and according to earlier trademark filings, devices like the LG G3 Vista, G3 Vigor, and G3 Lite are some of the possibilities of LG G3 variants that have yet to be announced. From what we’ve seen so far, the LG G3 Vista is a slightly larger version of the LG G3, but other than that not much else is known.
In any case we guess this is as official as it gets for now, so do check back with us at a later date for the details, if there are any to be had.
