About a year ago, we came across a smartwatch by a company called Kreyos. They were developing a smartwatch called the Meteor and one of the more unique aspects of the device was that it would be compatible with iOS, Android, and even Windows Phone. This is a big deal since smartwatch makers tend to neglect the Windows Phone platform.

Now the app for Windows Phone is currently in the works, but the folks at Kreyos have decided to show it off, perhaps to keep Windows Phone users updated on their progress with the app, so if you have a couple of minutes to spare, you can check it out in the video above for the details. Basically the app will allow users to access their profile, activity stats, sports mode, settings, and so on.

It will also allow users to update the watch’s firmware. Another unique aspect of the watch is that it can be interacted with using gesture controls. This means that users won’t have to use their hands to touch the device’s screen to interact with it. This will come in handy while driving, or while cooking, or other times when your hands might be full or dirty and you don’t want to mess up the device.

If you’re interested in placing an order for the device, you will be able to by heading to its website where the Meteor smartwatch has been priced at $169.95 and will be available in a variety of bright and funky colors.
