While HTC did try their hand with tablets back in 2011 with the HTC Flyer, the tablet failed to gain much traction and while there were rumors about HTC releasing a new tablet after that, nothing surfaced, suggesting that HTC had pushed back their tablet plans. However if @evleaks’ post is to be believed, we could be looking at a pretty big push from HTC.
Unfortunately no word on what sort of specs or features we can expect from HTC’s other two tablets, so take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out the details. In the meantime as far as the Nexus 9 is concerned, word has it that the tablet will pack a 2K display and will be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset.
It is also rumored to come with an 8MP rear-facing camera with OIS, 2GB of RAM, and will come in 16/32GB storage options. There’s still no word on when HTC will be making their announcement, but do check back with us at a later date for the details.
