Good things come to those who wait, but for those of us out there who are tapping our fingers impatiently in the direction of Google as we heard whispers of a Material Design update for its entire range of products on the Android system, that day when such an update is rolled out officially cannot come soon enough. Well, it does seem as though Google is not going to sit around and wait for Android L to send out such updates to different products, as it looks like the Google Play Store Material Design makeover has arrived, albeit partially.
This particular Google Play Store Material Design makeover is mainly focused on both the app and content pages, but it will not see an extension to the overall navigation of the Play Store. The biggest change in the app and content pages would see users enjoy new animations, cover photos and videos which will be featured in a more prominent manner at the top. As for descriptions and change logs, those can now be viewed in full screen goodness, in case you like to do such “heavy” reading on your mobile device.
Apart from that, change logs are shown on apps that you have already installed, and this will see off the existing app descriptions for said apps. Basically, information concerning the apps on your device will see a bit of a reshuffle to be more intuitive.
