Multiple reports have appeared online that Bungie is already allowing some access to Destiny Beta for PS4. Some of those who have digitally pre-ordered the game are already able to pre-load the game. The size of this beta is said to be at 13.2GB with the total size coming in at 14.3GB once it was finished downloading.
This doesn’t mean that those who have been able to download the Destiny Beta for PS4 are actually able to play it. Trying to run the pre-load brings up error message CE-34632-8 presumably because Bungie hasn’t made it playable as yet.
Though folks who are able to download the Beta right now will have instant access to it come July 17th. This means that they won’t have to wait for the title to download on the day the Beta goes live and when the servers are hammered with insane amounts traffic.
All reports that have surfaced right now make it seem like pre-load is only working for those who digitally pre-ordered the game. It is unclear if Bungie plans on sending download keys for those who have pre-ordered from retail.
Reports also indicate that those who have ordered from the EU PSN Store are being able to pre-load Destiny Beta for PS4. We have yet to hear if it has been pushed out for those who pre-ordered from the US PSN Store, do let us know if you see it pop up on your PS4!
