Based on what we can see, it looks like the new iTunes 12 will be borrowing some flat designs ideas found in iOS 8. The app does indeed look “flatter” and we guess the more obvious visual changes would be to the top left corner of the app, where the minimize, close, and expand buttons have been redesigned.
The navigation bar has also been redesigned and now features individual buttons for Music, Movies, Television Shows, and Apps, and for those looking for additional features, you will be able to access them via the “more content” menu. So far we have to say that the app looks pretty good, although if there is one thing Apple has yet to address it would be the iTunes Store itself.
We’re not sure when Apple plans on refreshing the iTunes Store’s design, but presumably it would either happen with the release of iTunes 12, or at a later date after its release. In any case what do you guys think? Are you digging the new iTunes 12 look?
