Angry Birds Transformers Trailer Revealed

It was in the middle of last month that Rovio announced their mash up with the folks over at Hasbro, who are preparing a totally new Angry Birds title that is known as Angry Birds Transformers. No doubt there is still excitement reverberating from the latest Transformers flick, and so to have an Angry Birds tie in with the Transformers franchise is definitely something that is worth a shot. In fact, the first Angry Birds Transformers trailer has just hit the Internet, so check it out above to see what else you can infer from it.

This is the first official teaser trailer of the game, and it was revealed at this year’s edition of Comic-Con – no doubt that this was not recorded using Google Glass because that piece of wearable tech had already been banned from film previews at the convention. No actual gameplay footage was shown, but it does drop some clues on the different genres that Angry Birds Transformers might wade into.

It would not be too far off the mark, at least in our books, to see Angry Birds Transformers as some kind of a racing and an endless runner title, where you will have to avoid being shot at, not to mention switch between the different forms of your Transformers in order to get past certain levels.
