As far as hardware specs are concerned, the LG G3 probably up there as being one of the best, if not the best smartphone at the moment. It features a QHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. However according to the rumors, LG could be working on an even more powerful version of the LG G3 called the LG G3 Prime.
Now if you’re wondering if the phone even exists, thanks to a Bluetooth SIG sighting, it seems that it does. The phone in question has the model number LG-F460S which many speculate could be the LG G3 Prime, so assuming that the speculation is right, the handset has recently been certified by the Bluetooth SIG, bringing it one step closer to reality.
Unfortunately the Bluetooth SIG sighting doesn’t really tell us much about the handset, such as its specs save for its Bluetooth connectivity. However according to the rumors and speculation, what could set the LG G3 Prime over the LG G3 could be water and dust resistance in the form of IP67 certification, a feature which is currently offered by the Samsung Galaxy S5.
It is also expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, making it slightly more power than the LG G3. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Would you be miffed if LG did indeed release a slightly more powerful version of the LG G3?
