Over the past couple of weeks or so, we’ve been treated to a variety of photos and videos that are allegedly that of the iPhone 6’s components. It’s hard to tell what’s real, although some of them do look pretty convincing. That being said, the folks at MacRumors have recently managed to get their hands on some photos from a couple of a different sources that shows off the rear panel of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model.
Some of the photos are courtesy of Feld & Volk, a company based in Moscow that deals with luxury versions of the iPhone. In order to create the luxury version, some iPhone parts had to be modified, and they claim that the back panel in the video above is one of the components they received from one of the factories that makes spare parts for Apple devices. The company also states that the sapphire that they use in their luxury phones comes from the same suppliers as the one Apple uses as well.
However the component that they received isn’t complete yet, in the sense that there are still a couple of holes that need to be punched out and that it has yet to be further polished and cleaned up, so what we are looking at might resemble the shape of the iPhone 6, but might not necessarily represent the final look.
The component also gives us a look at the redesigned volume buttons, along with a look at the sides of the phone where the SIM tray and the relocated power button. While we can’t verify the authenticity of the images, MacRumors claims that Feld & Volk’s images are similar to the ones that they have received from a separate source. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but you can check out the video above to see the component in detail.
