Transport for London, who happens to be London’s transit authority, has come to an agreement with global football website ESPNFC in order to deliver the likes of news, results and scores to the London Underground’s train departure boards. This would affect more than 140 stations in total, allowing commuters to be on the ball where each minute of the World Cup is concerned.
The entire range of stations across the whole Central, Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee Lines will feature such updates on the train departure information on their platforms, while there will also be another 400 service update boards thereabouts which will also deliver the latest World Cup scores.
