We have seen our fair share of fitness trackers revealed in the past that arrive in the form of a bracelet, and most of the time, these are more functional than aesthetically pleasing. In fact, fitness trackers seem in place only when used within the confines of a gym – wearing it anywhere else would make it look out of place, even more so in formal settings. The Withings Activité intends to turn things on their head, helping the masses alter their perception against what a fitness tracker ought to look like.
In fact, this particular design itself harks back to a more elegant form, making it look like a luxury timepiece of sorts. This could be attributed to the fact that the Withings Activité itself was developed and created by designers from Paris as well as Swiss watch makers. You will be able to choose from either silver or black shades, and it will be made out of stainless steel 316L alongside one of those ultra tough sapphire glass material that doubles up as a touch screen display, allowing you to switch between modes with but a single tap.
As for its leather strap, it is apparently sourced from a well-known tannery in France, although there is the option to swap it out by replacing it with a plastic strap instead. A couple of dials are shown on the Withings Activité, where the main one will depict the time, while the smaller sub dial ensures that your activity targets are kept track of.
