One of the larger Windows Phone handsets available at the moment is the Nokia Lumia 1520. The display is pretty big at 6-inches but it seems that a company by the name of Wistron is hoping to beat that. The company has recently shown off the Wistron Tiger Windows Phone at Computex 2014 and unlike the Lumia 1520, this phone has a whopping 6.45-inch display.
Yep, it looks like the Wistron Tiger is almost half an inch bigger than the Lumia 1520, so if you thought that the Lumia 1520 wasn’t big enough for your liking, perhaps the Wistron Tiger could be more towards your liking. The phone will also sport a Full HD display and a Snapdragon 800 processor and will be built from aluminum.
There also appears to be front-facing speakers, kind of like the HTC One M8’s BoomSound speakers, so that’s worth taking note of. Unfortunately it appears that the Wistron Tiger is only a reference design, meaning that you won’t actually be able to buy it from Wistron themselves.
However it also means that other OEMs could purchase the design and use it to create their own Windows Phone handsets, so perhaps there’s a chance you’ll see it arrive in the market in the future. In any case if you’re curious about the handset, you can check out the video above, courtesy of the folks over at Mobilegeeks.de.
